Ego Likeness, formed in 1999 in Baltimore, Maryland by artist/musician Steven Archer and writer/vocalist Donna Lynch, is a dark-electronic project, combining elements of goth, industrial, rock, and dance music. They have toured extensively throughout North America and Europe, performing at clubs, conventions, and festivals.
On stage, drummer Mike K Johnson (Spider Lilies, LINDA) and guitarist Rick Furr (aka DC’s Mindcage Rick- Mindless Faith, Miscellen, Chemlab, Bile, VAC) have been with the band for over a decade.
Ego Likeness has released six full length albums, multiple EPs and singles, and have appeared on numerous compilations and remix albums. Donna and Steven have both appeared as guest artists for several of the goth/ industrial scene’s most iconic acts.
They have been signed to Metropolis Records since 2010.
Stoneburner was created by artist and musician Steven Archer (Ego Likeness, Hopeful Machines, Ocellus, Queen Neon) in 2015 and has evolved and reinvented itself with every release. Originally a tribal-industrial project, Stoneburner now finds itself firmly planted in industrial, combining noise, melody, and poignant lyricism. Though originally designed as a solo project, Steven is regularly joined on stage with guest musicians, and currently tours with Nathaniel Rose (Atlanta’s DJ Aesthetic) on drums.
Stoneburner’s seventh album, APEX PREDATOR, is out now on COP International.
::hopeful machines:: is a catch-all electronic project from Steven Archer designed for musical experimentation and to change form as the need demands.
Ocellus is Steven Archer’s extremely experimental and abstract metal project. Built around intentionally caustic and unpleasant sounds, it is not friendly in any way.
QueenNeon is a throwback to Steven Archer’s childhood influences and is his take on the Synthwave genre.
